Indoor Air Quality Testing & Diagnostics
When a building makes people feel unwell but nothing is visibly wrong, air sampling gives you data instead of guesses. ABBN tests for mold spores, VOCs, particulates, carbon dioxide and allergens, then explains what the numbers actually mean for the people in the space.

What indoor air quality testing involves
We start with a walkthrough — HVAC condition, ventilation rates, moisture, finishes and occupant complaints — then place sampling pumps and direct-reading instruments in the affected areas plus an outdoor control. Spore-trap and VOC cassettes go to an accredited laboratory; CO2, particulates, temperature and humidity are logged on site. The report compares your indoor readings against the outdoor baseline and published guidelines, and names the likely sources rather than just listing numbers.
Signs you need indoor air quality testing
- Headaches, fatigue or irritated eyes and throat that improve outside the building
- Musty, chemical or sewer-like odors with no visible source
- Recent renovation, new flooring, cabinetry or fresh paint
- Staff or tenant complaints concentrated in one wing or floor
- Visible dust discharge from supply diffusers
- Post-remediation verification that the work actually worked

How our indoor air quality testing works
- 1
Walkthrough, HVAC assessment and moisture survey.
- 2
Air sampling indoors plus an outdoor control, with on-site instrument logging.
- 3
Accredited lab analysis of spore-trap and VOC samples.
- 4
Written report comparing results to guidelines, with a prioritized action plan.
Reports built for decisions, not shelves
Every IAQ report ends with a ranked action list: what to fix first, what to monitor, and what is already within normal range. For employers and property managers that means something you can hand to a board, an HR team or a tenant association and have the conversation end there — and if remediation is warranted, we can scope and perform it under the same roof.
